ampersand-is a logogram representing the conjunction word and.small caps- are uppercase(capital) letters set at the same height and weight as surroundinglowercase letters.
lowercase- letters on the bottom of the word for example Graphics,the lowercase letter would be p. 
uppercase letters would be the letters on top of the line for example Graphics,the uppercase letter would be h,and i.
